ReturnedI needed a suit for a carribean vacation in which we knew there would be lots of water sports. I bought these with the idea that I liked the full boxer brief liner, and I wanted a suit that I could wear out after being on the beach without looking like a guy wearing a swimsuit. I think the shorts are passable enough in this respect. My big issue was that I read reviews saying these ran small, and I found that the opposite was probably true, or maybe it is more fair to say they run true to size. The shorts, tightened down as far as they would go, were still too loose for my tastes. I'm 38, and not 17, so maybe I don't understand the desire for your underwear to show. If not for the liner securing to the shorts, I'm pretty sure I would have lost these a couple times. In fact, when it was time to snorkel I decided to wear a pair of running shorts with a liner vice worrying about my butt hanging out.I can see that this is a quality product, but perhaps it was just executed poorly. I won't be in a rush to buy this brand again.Wore these over a week in Hawaii. Surprisingly comfortable, and can choose to have the cheesy little dry duds waste band on the undergarment exposed or not, while still having it attached to shorts. The pictures typically show the waste band exposed, which I think rather goofy. The attachment mechanism is alright, but in my opinion overrated, the undershorts work fine with regular board shorts too, and if I repeated my purchase I'd buy regular board shorts and the dry duds liner. The DD liner was quite comfortable, and I am typically highly heat sensitive and wear solely boxers. Boardshorts themselves ran large - more like a 34, although I'm somewhere around a 33 and with elastic in the waste band they fit alright.Got for Husband, they fit him just right. Hi is 5' 9" we also got a pair for our teenage son who is 6'4"they are 6" to short and do not come down to the top of his knee, he likes then to go past his knee's. I read reviews and people claiming to be over 6' said they were long. Our son is all leg and his regular pants are 34/36, these shorts fit nicely if you pant length is no longer the a 32.I am 6'2, 270 with a 38-40 waist size on most apparel. My legs however are really thick and these seem to do just fine. I ordered the 42 as I usually expect swimwear to fit small. If you're a big guy then go a size up. I haven't worn them swimming yet, but the initial feel is comfortable except the liner which hugs the groin area a bit too much. Might try to stretch that area out a bit. Not a bad buy for the price.love the material of this product just wish they were a little longerThey are durable lightweight material that breaths well and drys fastThese shorts are great. The only thing that I would change is make the a few inches longer. I'm 6'3" and I really would prefer to have shorts that make it just below the knee. These at least make it to the knee so that's a plus. Wish Amazon had more sizes in the different patterns I'd buy a few more pairs of these. They have become my new favorite board shorts.
