I've had too many pairs of havaianas to count and I wanted to try something different that was made from natural rubber. I'm glad I found Waves - the flip flops fit great, are wearing well, and I like the different colour options that are available.As a bonus, dealing with customer service has been a pleasure!They are pretty comfortable! The material is pretty high quality and feels like it'll last awhile.The slippers fit as described and comfortable.Basic flip flop, real rubber so really comfortableI like it because is comfortable and fit perfectly on a skinny feet.Comfortable and as expected.As advertisedCompared to my pair of Havaianas of similar style:-The material and texture of the Waves is more comfortable. However, the thong on the Waves is placed a bit more forward which causes my big toe to stick out which also results in too much space behind the heel. Not a good fit for me even though the size is ok (I'm 9.5 and got the 10). Because of the placement of the thong, the foot does not stay in the middle.-While the Havaianas have a barely noticeable odor even when held few inches from the nose, the waves have an unpleasant odor which is noticeable from 5 or 6 feet away. The odor is still there after several months, so it does not seem to dissipate over time.-The color of the Waves comes a bit off when wiped with a wet paper towel (the flip flop color is blue and the paper towel gets a slight bluish color). If color chemicals are leaching, it beats the whole idea of buying a 100% natural rubber flip flops in order to stay away from toxic chemicals.1 star since I don't use it (put it away in a sealed plastic bag) mainly because of the strong odor and the leaching chemicals which might be toxic and get absorbed in the skin.
