I bought these boots after trying a pair from a higher priced, more popular/trendy, deck boot.These boots came in CLUTCH while I pressure washed everything around my house. I’ve worn them during miles-long walks on London sidewalks, to muddy soccer weekends, and I accidentally wore them to a Christmas party.*They’re VERY comfortable, even for big (U.S.13) fat feet.*They don’t scream “work boot”. Sure, you wouldn’t wear them with a tuxedo on your wedding day but they aren’t ugly.*They don’t show signs of wear.*They retain traction as much as any other boot I’ve had in the past.*They’re warm, but not hot. I wear good quality wool socks year round, lightweight in the summer and heavier weight in winter. These boots fit snug around the ankle but somehow my feet don’t get hot. I can’t explain it.Overall, at this price point , these boots are excellent and I suspect they will last quite awhile. When they wear out, I’ll buy more.
